WHAT IS THE UPSTAND?
NOT A KICKSTAND
With the Upstand, you can park your bicycle anywhere! No more balancing on a curb, leaning on your car or searching for the closest tree to set it against. Best of all? No heavy, unsightly kickstand hanging off your bike.
A magnet embedded in the top of the Upstand holds it in place when you’re stopped and when you’re ready to ride, just pluck the stand off and stow it away. Only a small metal tab installs on your rear axle to act as the mounting point. The Upstand folds in half and fits easily in your pocket or bag.
EASY TO USE
Installs in less than 1 minute. From then on, when you want to use the Upstand simply magnetically attach it.
COMPACT
The Upstand detaches quickly from your bicycle and folds up for easy storage in your 3 panel pocket, gear bag, under your seat, etc. Think of it similar to a tentpole in how it folds together.
DURABLE
Constructed of carbon fiber; 6061T 6 anodized aluminum, neodymium axial magnet, shock cord, stainless steel and epdm rubber foot. We go out of our way to build the best product we can, right here in the US.
LIGHT
Added weight to your bike is only 15 grams via our tab that goes on your rear axle. The Upstand itself is only 25 grams. Total product weight is 40 grams.
INSTALLATION
Simply release the rear skewer, draw the skewer out and hang the 10 gram tab on the skewer, as shown. Slide the quick release back in and tighten. Now it’s time to ride.
